Graduate Students
Post Doctoral Fellows
Undergraduates
- Students engage in three laboratory rotations, each spanning 5-7 weeks, during their first year. These rotations provide exposure to various research areas, foster skill development, and help evaluate lab compatibility. After completing the core curriculum, students select a specialized doctoral program to continue their training. To join the iQBAL Lab, applicants must apply through the way described later.
- The iQBAL Lab offers an outstanding environment for aspiring academics, integrating cutting-edge technologies with expertise in computational and experimental biology. Postdoctoral mentorship focuses on fostering independence in laboratory techniques, critical thinking, and grant-writing, equipping trainees to make impactful contributions to their fields.
- The iQBAL Lab welcomes one undergraduate researcher at a time, ensuring personalized mentorship from the PI and team. Students, typically joining after their freshman or sophomore year, engage in independent research projects throughout their undergraduate journey. This includes semester-long studies and culminates in an honors thesis during their senior year.
